A young man, Lawan Jones Jr., surrendered to authorities in connection with the tragic death of Keith Bryan Poole, a resident of Pompano Beach. The incident took place on Northeast 28th Street, where Poole was found with fatal gunshot wounds. Law enforcement responded swiftly to the scene following a shooting report and rushed Poole to Broward Health North, but unfortunately, he did not survive his injuries. The suspect’s arrest brings closure to this heartbreaking case.Witnesses reported that the shooting incident occurred when Poole discovered social media posts by Jones that he deemed inappropriate.
