Francis Lionel Fox, 67, Passed Away

LIGHTHOUSE POINT, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2024) — BSO is now investigating a motorcycle accident that happened in Lighthouse Point in January.

The Broward Sheriff’s Office Traffic Homicide Unit is currently investigating a tragic collision between a car and a motorcycle that occurred in Lighthouse Point back in January.

It all started when the Lighthouse Point Police received reports of a traffic accident with injuries on North Federal Highway. During the initial investigation, it was found that Matthew Reynolds, driving a 2020 Porsche Carrera, was heading northbound on North Federal Highway while Francis Lionel Fox, riding a 2006 Harley Davidson motorcycle, was also traveling in the same direction but in a different lane. As Reynolds tried to change lanes, his car collided with Fox’s motorcycle, causing him to lose control and crash.

Despite immediate medical attention from Lighthouse Point Fire Rescue and transportation to Broward Health Medical Center, Fox sadly succumbed to his injuries on Jan. 30.

Following this tragic incident, the Lighthouse Point Police reached out to BSO’s Traffic Homicide Unit for further investigation into the circumstances surrounding the fatal crash.

On Monday, February 12th, the Lighthouse Point Police reached out to the BSO’s Traffic Homicide Unit to ask for their assistance in looking into the details surrounding the tragic accident.
