Sadly a motorcyclist lost their life in a traffic accident and detectives from the Traffic Homicide Unit, at the Broward Sheriff’s Office are currently looking into the details of this event.
Before 1 p.m on a Friday in November 1st it was found in initial investigations that Boris Katz was riding an older model BMW motorcycle heading east on Loxahatchee Road, towards Parkside Drive when Ronald Strobl driving a newer model BMW X series SUV turned onto Parkside Drive and collided with Katzs motorcycle at that intersection as he tried to go south.
BSOs deputies and the Coral Springs Fire Rescue team arrived at the scene. Rushed Katz, to Broward Health North hospital where he was declared dead upon arrival.
After examining the evidence found at the crash site and conducting their investigations further detectives have ruled out speed as a factor, in the collision.The inquiry is still ongoing.
