Detectives with the Broward Sheriff’s Office Homicide and Crime Scene units and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement are investigating a deputy involved shooting that occurred near the 1900 block of Northeast Second Street in Deerfield Beach.

The media staging area is located at 2090 Northeast First Street.

A BSO Public Information Officer will be on scene at approximately: 11:00 PM
