Detectives from Broward Sheriff’s Office Traffic Homicide Unit are looking into an accident that took place in Oakland Park one Monday evening recently. As per their findings and information received by Broward County Regional Communications around 6;45 p.m. there was a single car collision, in the 4700 block of North Andrews Avenue. BSO deputies and Oakland Park Fire Rescue promptly responded to the scene. Initial investigations suggest that a driver of a 2008 Honda Pilot was heading north in the lane of North Andrews Avenue near Northewest 47th Court. The vehicle suddenly turned northwest. Crashed into a tall palm tree in the median area of the road The driver and only person, in the car named Wilfrid Joseph was taken by OPFR to Broward Health Medical Center where he was sadly declared dead by medical staff According to the medical team Joseph had a medical issue before the accident occurred
