Bso Homicide Detectives Make Arrest In 2023 Double Fatal Shooting

The detectives from the Broward Sheriff’s Office Homicide Unit have arrested someone in connection with a double shooting that took place in Pompano Beach back in March 2023 at approximately 10;42 a.m on Thursday the 23rd of that month and year. BOOM! deputies for the district and Pompano Beach Fire Rescue received a call reporting gunshots around the area near Southeast 11th Avenues 300 block in Pompano Beach. Upon arrival, at the scene revealed by deputies found Joshua Moise and K CI Octelus had tragically lost their lives there. Following this discovery BSOs Homicide and Crime Scene units arrived at the location to start their investigation. The case was later sent to the Broward County State Attorneys Office for evaluation purposes after which an arrest warrant was issued for Neil Andrews followed by his detainment by the U.S Marshals in Rapid City South Dakota on April 9 2024 and subsequently transferred to Pennington County Jail. On May 5 2025 Andrews was brought back, to Broward County. Taken to BSOs Main Jail where he is charged with two counts of manslaughter and one count of tampering with a firearms serial number.
