The Broward Sheriff’s Office Homicide Unit detectives apprehended Hermes Rodriguez after he fatally attacked Charles Scott on a Sunday morning in Pompano Beach areas 437 S.W Second Court location at around 8;22 a.m on March 23rd.. When BSO district deputies and Pompano Beach Fire Rescue arrived in response to the stabbing report they found Scott with a stab wound. Rushed him for medical attention at Broward Health North where he was later confirmed dead by medical staff.. The BSO Homicide Unit detectives were. Swiftly came on site for further investigation, into the incident. Detectives conducted an investigation. Concluded that Rodriguez was the one who stabbed Scott in a dispute over a lighter before being located and arrested on the same day for the offense of first degree murder, at BSOs Main Jail.
