COOPER CITY, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2023) — Cooper City and BSO have partnered to open a Real Time Crime Center (RTCC) in Cooper City.

BSO says the RTCC has been unofficially operating since April of 2023 and have already been able to assist in half a dozen cases and support BSO’s road patrol in the area.

The new RTCC operates in a 740-square-foot room that used to store records in the Cooper City district office. The room now has a 12-foot video wall where law enforcement personnel monitor the area for crime.

Lake many modern-day crime centers in the area, the new RTCC will be used to investigate dangerous threats and aid first responders with active calls.
