Authorities from Broward Sheriff’s Office Homicide Unit are currently looking into a shooting incident that resulted in the death of a 44 year father and injuries to his 20 year old son in North Lauderdale area yesterday evening around 7 PM near Southwest 81st Avenue block number 900. Reports suggest that Marlon Samuels was engaged in a dispute with someone, in that vicinity. At one moment during the confrontation things got physical as the person shot Marlon times and then aimed the gun at Marlons son named Mikyle Samuels before running away from the scene after the shootings occurred. Deputies from BSO and emergency responders from North Lauderdale Fire Rescue arrived at the location to assist. Investigators mentioned that Marlon was declared deceased at the scene while Mikyle was taken to a hospital for medical care where his injuries are not expected to be life threatening.
