BOCA RATON, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2026) — Boca Raton is bringing back Boca Street Fest this Saturday, March 28, with a four-hour downtown event centered at Mizner Park Amphitheater and spreading throughout Mizner Park.
The city is billing it as the second annual Boca Street Fest, a free public event running from noon to 4 p.m. in the heart of downtown. Organizers say the festival is meant to celebrate Boca Raton with live entertainment, community programming, vendors and a look at the city’s recent progress and future plans.
The main event footprint includes the amphitheater at 590 Plaza Real and the interior of Mizner Park, which will be turned into a pedestrian promenade for the afternoon. City event materials say residents and visitors can expect two stages of programming, a marketplace with nearly 100 local vendors and makers, food vendors, Mizner Park businesses and a biergarten.
The main stage at Mizner Park Amphitheater is scheduled to feature live music from Havoc 305 and Wolfhawk. Havoc 305, described by the city as a rock and Top 40 party cover band, is scheduled to perform from 12:45 p.m. to 1:15 p.m. and again from 1:25 p.m. to 2:10 p.m. Wolfhawk, described as high-energy melodic rock, is scheduled from 2:20 p.m. to 3:05 p.m. and again from 3:25 p.m. to 4 p.m.
A separate community stage will feature dance and cultural performances throughout the afternoon. The posted schedule lists Aloha Islanders at 12:45 p.m., Tir Na Greine at 1:40 p.m., Marienera en al Mundo at 2:15 p.m. and the Miami Klezmer Band at 3:10 p.m.
The city is also promoting a year-in-review segment at the start of the event, along with what it describes as a brief reflection on Boca Raton’s progress, a celebration of leadership and a look ahead. That makes the festival more than a music event. It is also being used as a civic showcase in one of the city’s most visible public gathering spaces.
For people planning to attend, the city says the event will continue rain or shine. Restrooms will be available at the Mizner Park Amphitheater and in Mizner Park. Food will be sold on site through multiple vendors. Outside chairs will not be allowed inside the amphitheater, though seating will be provided there.
City staff members in STAFF shirts will be stationed throughout the event, and a Community Events tent on the south end of Mizner Park will be available for questions and event maps.
Getting in and out of the area will take some planning. East and West Plaza Real are scheduled to close beginning at 6 a.m. Saturday. The city says event access into Mizner Park will be from Northwest Third Street and Federal Highway.
The city is offering several free parking options downtown. Those include City Hall at 201 West Palmetto Park Road, the City Parking Lot at 300 Northwest Second Avenue, the Building Administration lot at 200 Northwest Second Avenue and the Downtown Public Library at 400 Northwest Second Avenue. Limited parking will also be available in the Mizner Park garages. Metered on-street parking remains available throughout downtown.
Boca Raton is also encouraging people to use BocaConnect, the city’s on-demand shuttle service in and around downtown. Bike racks will be available in front of City Hall and at the amphitheater. Electric vehicle charging stations are listed at City Hall and the Downtown Library.
Police and fire safety reminders are also part of the city’s event guidance. Attendees are urged to lock vehicles, remove valuables and avoid leaving keys inside. Families are encouraged to pick a meeting spot in case they get separated. For pedestrians walking near the Florida East Coast Railway corridor, the city is also reminding people to stop, look and listen before crossing tracks.
Situational Awareness: A protest organized by Indivisible Boca Raton is scheduled for Saturday, March 28, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. outside Boca Raton City Hall at 201 West Palmetto Park Road. The demonstration is expected ahead of the city’s Boca Street Fest later in the day at Mizner Park, with increased activity in the downtown area during the morning hours.
