BOCA RATON, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2026) — The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office reported hundreds of enforcement actions during a one-day traffic crackdown targeting speeding and aggressive driving across the county.
Deputies conducted a countywide Speed & Aggressive Driving Enforcement Operation on Saturday, March 7, 2026, between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. The initiative focused on enforcing Florida traffic laws related to excessive speed, unsafe driving behavior, and other roadway violations.
According to results released by the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, deputies made 237 traffic stops during the eight-hour operation. The enforcement effort produced 275 traffic citations, 152 warnings, and 13 criminal citations. One person was arrested on a misdemeanor charge.
The Sheriff’s Office organizes periodic enforcement campaigns aimed at speeding and aggressive driving, both of which remain leading factors in serious traffic crashes throughout Palm Beach County and across Florida.
While deputies regularly conduct traffic enforcement as part of routine patrol, operations like the March 7 campaign concentrate additional deputies in targeted areas for a defined period.
