What to expect today and tonight.

Some severe thunderstorms and scattered showers are expected throughout the day. Heavy rainfall, gusty winds, and lightning. Chance of an isolated tornado is possible.

Slight risk of waterspouts all over South Florida is possible today. Tornadoes will be possible today as well.

High surf breaking along area beaches with a high surf advisory in effect.

Expect rip currents to remain through the week. High surf at area beaches likely to remain.
