Frank Sinatra’S Cousin Frankie B Arrested In Boca Raton

BOCA RATON, FL (Boca Post) — Frank Barbato, better known as “Frankie B”, who happens to be a cousin of Frank Sinatra as well as a talented musician himself, was arrested for battery and obstruction of justice on Saturday.

Frank Barbato, 60, of the 400 block of Palmetto Park Road in Boca Raton, has been arrested by the Boca Raton Police Department. Boca Post has been notified that the charges filed include battery as well as obstruction of justice.

Boca Post has learned that Barbato is a cousin to the Sinatra family by Frank Sinatra’s first wife, Nancy (Barbato) Sinatra. Locals regularly enjoy Franki B’s live performances at various local Boca Raton venues including Ash Bar and Saquella Cafe.

Frank Barbato was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail at 5:24 AM on Saturday, November 11th, 2022 where he remains at this time.

The arrest comes after an incident between Barbato and his partner. While the whole incident may have just been a heated argument that got out of hand, Barbato was arrested for battery and tampering with a witness due to allegations that he kept the woman’s phone from her when she tried to call 9-1-1.

Since the arrest in November, the charges have been reduced to misdemeanors to which Barbato pleaded not guilty. Barbato petitioned the court for an injunction against the victim; however, that petition has since been denied.

Barbato was found guilty of the reduced charges.
