BOCA RATON, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2026) — Palm Beach and Broward counties saw four emergency restaurant closures during the week ending March 29, according to Florida DBPR records, with pest activity driving each of the local shutdowns. One of those closures happened in Boca Raton, where 818 Heat / 818 Bar and Grill was ordered closed, and the week’s inspection records also showed a heavy volume of high-priority violations at restaurants across Boca Raton, Boynton Beach, Coral Springs and elsewhere.

Dirty Dining is based on state inspection records. An emergency closure is not a disciplinary action, but a temporary step inspectors use when conditions pose an elevated risk to the public or employees. The business stays closed until those problems are corrected.
