BOCA RATON, FL (Boca Post) — A Boca Lago resident is accused of tax evasion allegedly withholding $130,000 in tax revenue allegedly generated by receiving kickbacks from corrupt lawyers and chiropractors as well as other fraud.

Craig Goldstein, 60, of Boca Lago in Boca Raton, has been formally accused by the federal government of tax evasion. Goldstein is to face 3 counts of tax evasion where he allegedly shorted the IRS a total of $130,000 in 2015, 2016, and 2017.

The revenue was allegedly generated by manipulating the business’ accounting to reflect losses when there was actual substantial gains. The government is also alleging that there was revenue generated from the company accepting kickbacks from referring crash victims to ‘corrupt attorneys’ or companies who represented such attorneys as well as chiropractors.
