The Delray Beach Police Department has successfully located the vehicle believed to be involved in the hit and run incident that tragically took the life of a 71-year-old man on November 11, 2023.

The victim has been identified as Romeo Della Valle. The investigation is still ongoing and authorities are actively gathering more information. DELRAY BEACH, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2023) — A 71-year-old man was killed after a hit-and-run crash in Delray Beach on Saturday evening.

A tragic incident occurred on the evening of November 11 2023 where a 71 year old man lost his life in a hit and run crash. The unfortunate event took place at 1301 SW. 10th Avenue, in Delray Beach around 7;30 p.m. According to witnesses at the scene the victim was walking when an unidentified vehicle, described as a cherry red or dark colored Chevy Malibu from the years 2013 to 2016 struck him and then fled southbound towards Linton Boulevard. Sadly the injured man passed away there.

Authorities believe that the suspect vehicle suffered damage to its end including the grill, headlights, windshield and drivers side fog light cover.
