Gregg Michael Saxton Of Boca Raton Charged With DUI, More Than 1.5 Times Legal Limit

BOCA RATON, FL (Boca Post) — Two young people riding a motorcycle were sent to a hospital following a crash with a DUI driver in Boca Raton on Saturday afternoon.

Sources close to the incident tell Boca Post that at approximately 5:20 PM on Saturday, November 26th, 2022, a young female and male were riding on a motorcycle when it collided with another vehicle.

The motorcycle was involved in a collision with another vehicle near the 4000 block of N Dixie Highway on Saturday afternoon. The driver and passenger of the motorcycle, a 20-year-old man and a 19-year-old woman, were both transported to Delray Medical Center as trauma alerts.

Sources tell us that while the couple did not suffer head injuries they were transported to DMC as priority trauma alerts as a precaution.

We have learned that the driver of the other vehicle, Gregg Michael Saxton, 48, of the 500 block of NE 46th Street in Boca Raton, was arrested for DUI. According to jail records reviewed by Boca Post, Saxton is being charged with “316.193(2B3) TCATS DUI ALCOHOL OR DRUGS 4TH OR SUBSQ OFF”.

According to the criminal citation, Saxton’s blood alcohol level was .139, which is more than one and a half times the legal limit (.08), following the crash.
