BSO Searching for Missing 12-year-old Last Seen in North Lauderdale

BSO detectives are asking the public for help locating a 12-year-old last seen Sunday morning in North Lauderdale.

BSO detectives are asking for the public’s help locating a missing 12-year-old last seen near the 6800 block of Southwest 17th Street in North Lauderdale.

BROWARD COUNTY, FL — Broward Sheriff’s Office detectives are searching for a missing 12-year-old and asking the public to help locate her.

BSO’s Missing Persons Unit said Kimora McMinns was last seen at about 7 a.m. Sunday, June 21, near the 6800 block of Southwest 17th Street in North Lauderdale.

Investigators said she was last seen wearing black shorts, a black shirt, pink sandals, and a black and purple bonnet.

BSO described McMinns as about 5 feet 4 inches tall and about 140 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

The search is being handled by the Broward Sheriff’s Office Missing Persons Unit. BSO is asking anyone who has information about where she may be to contact Missing Persons Detective Chris Blankenship at 954-321-4268.

Tips can also be made through the BSO non-emergency number at 954-764-HELP (4357).

Residents who live or work near the 6800 block of Southwest 17th Street in North Lauderdale, or who may have seen a child matching the description Sunday morning, are being asked to call. Anyone with information is urged to contact BSO directly using the numbers provided.
