West Boca July 4 Fireworks, Concert Set For Sunset Cove Amphitheater

Palm Beach County Parks and Recreation will host a free July 4 fireworks show and concert at Sunset Cove Amphitheater in West Boca.

BOCA RATON, FL — The event is free, but parking, traffic and timing are the details West Boca families will want to know before heading to Sunset Cove Amphitheater.

Palm Beach County Parks and Recreation, in partnership with the West Boca Community Council, will present the annual 4th of July Fireworks Show and Concert on Saturday, July 4, 2026, at Sunset Cove Amphitheater in Burt Aaronson South County Regional Park.

The event is hosted by Commissioner Maria Sachs and is scheduled as part of Palm Beach County’s celebration of America’s 250th anniversary.

Admission and parking are free.

According to the county’s event information, gates open at 5:30 p.m. at Sunset Cove Amphitheater, located at 20405 Amphitheater Circle in Boca Raton. The concert begins at 5:30 p.m. with The Viva Band, which will perform music celebrating American rock bands.

The Kids Fun Zone is also scheduled to open at 5:30 p.m. and close at 8 p.m. The fireworks display is scheduled from 9 p.m. to 9:15 p.m.

Palm Beach County says the event will also include a salute to veterans, a nature center meet-and-greet, amusements, food and beverage concessions, and family activity areas.

What To Know Before Going

The county’s FAQ says Sunset Lake and the boat ramp will close to the public at 3 p.m. in preparation for the fireworks show.

Access to Burt Aaronson South County Regional Park common areas will be open during normal park operating times for patrons who arrive early. The Sunset Cove Amphitheater overflow parking lot gates open at 5:30 p.m.

No shuttles will be provided to the amphitheater.

Traffic restrictions will begin before the fireworks. According to the county, access to overflow parking lot viewing areas will be restricted at 8:30 p.m. Regional Park Drive will be partially closed to incoming park traffic at 8:30 p.m. from Glades Road to Park Access Road through the end of the event.

The fireworks show will not be broadcast online, according to the county.

What Is Allowed

Lawn chairs and blankets are welcome, and attendees are encouraged to bring what they need for several hours outdoors, including water, food, sunscreen and bug spray.

Food and beverage vendors will be on site, including vegan options, according to the county FAQ. Alcohol will be available through the event concessionaire, but outside alcoholic beverages are not permitted.

Tents and canopies are not permitted inside the amphitheater gates. Additional barbecue grills are not allowed, though grills are available in the park. Service animals are allowed on amphitheater grounds and must remain restrained.

Fireworks, explosives and drones are not permitted at the event.

The county says the event is rain or shine. If weather becomes an issue, staff may adjust the fireworks timing on site. Notifications are expected to be posted through Sunset Cove Amphitheater’s Facebook page and the Palm Beach County amphitheaters Instagram page.
