According to Florida DBPR records, emergency closures in South Florida this week included restaurants in West Palm Beach and Coral Springs. Inspectors also documented several establishments with four or more high-priority violations during routine inspections across Boca Raton, Delray Beach, West Palm Beach, Boynton Beach, Fort Lauderdale, and surrounding cities.

According to state emergency closure records, Los Catrachos Restaurant in West Palm Beach was temporarily closed April 27 after inspectors documented both roach and rodent activity.
Records show the restaurant was later approved to reopen April 28 after corrective action.
In Broward County, a Tijuana Flats location in Coral Springs was temporarily closed April 30 due to roach activity, according to the state report.
An emergency closure is not a disciplinary action, but rather an action taken when inspectors identify conditions that pose an elevated risk to the public or employees. Businesses remain closed until those conditions are corrected.

In Boynton Beach, Two Georges received four high-priority violations during an April 27 inspection.
Other establishments with multiple high-priority violations during the reporting cycle included Rustic Inn in Fort Lauderdale, Golden Corral in Royal Palm Beach, Red Crab - Juicy Seafood in West Palm Beach, and Jaws Hot Chicken and Seafood in West Palm Beach.

The latest monthly disciplinary activity report published by the Florida DBPR also included several Palm Beach and Broward County restaurants tied to earlier inspections.
In Boca Raton, Chipotle Mexican Grill #721 on Glades Road received a $200 fine tied to a January 2026 violation case. Vote For Pedro in Boca Raton received a $400 fine tied to an October 2025 violation date.
In Delray Beach, Blue Anchor received an $800 fine connected to a December 2025 violation date, while Jersey Mike's Subs received a $400 fine.
Boynton Beach establishments appearing in the disciplinary report included East Ocean Cafe, Cucina Moderna, and Pho 31 LLC.
In Broward County, disciplinary actions were also issued involving restaurants in Fort Lauderdale, Hollywood, Coral Springs, and Pompano Beach.
