BOCA RATON, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2026) — A Miami-Dade-based fire protection contractor has filed a civil complaint in Palm Beach County Circuit Court against Boca West Country Club Inc., alleging it is owed more than $106,000 for work tied to a renovation project at the club’s Boca Raton property.
The case is Milestone Fire Protection, LLC v. Boca West Country Club Inc., Case No. 502026CA003576XXXAMB, filed March 30, 2026, in the Circuit Court of the 15th Judicial Circuit in and for Palm Beach County, Florida.
According to the complaint, Milestone Fire Protection, LLC says Boca West owned the property at 20583 Boca West Drive in Boca Raton where the work was performed. The plaintiff is represented by Coral Gables law firm Delgado Vega, PLLC. No defense law firm is listed in the complaint.
The lawsuit alleges Boca West contracted with non-party T&G Corporation, doing business as T&G Construction, for renovations at Boca West Country Club, and that T&G in turn subcontracted Milestone for fire sprinkler and related fire protection work in several parts of the project. Those areas, according to the filing, included the Pool Bar, Fitness Center, Pool Entry, Main Building, and Multipurpose Building.
Milestone claims it first performed work on the project on June 1, 2022, and last performed work on Feb. 13, 2025. The company also alleges it served two notices to owner on May 24, 2022, before later recording two claims of lien in Palm Beach County public records after it was not paid.
In Count I, Milestone alleges it substantially completed work on the Pool Bar and Fitness Center portions of the project by Feb. 13, 2025. The complaint says the Pool Bar subcontract increased from $29,300 to $34,537.41 through change order work and that $8,683.74 remained unpaid. It also says the Fitness Center subcontract increased from $27,700 to $43,793.05 and that $13,913.05 remained unpaid. Together, the complaint alleges, Milestone is owed $22,596.79 for those portions of the project.
The filing says Milestone recorded that lien on April 28, 2025, then partially discharged it on March 30, 2026, by $1,365.59, leaving a balance of $22,596.79.
In Count II, Milestone alleges it substantially completed work on the Main Building, Pool Entry, and Multipurpose Building portions of the project by the same Feb. 13, 2025 date. According to the complaint, the Main Building subcontract increased from $54,500 to $194,224.39, with $57,227.52 allegedly unpaid. The Pool Entry subcontract increased from $19,800 to $32,733.90, with $4,608.10 allegedly unpaid. The Multipurpose Building subcontract increased from $27,800 to $47,028.17, with $22,021.17 allegedly unpaid. Milestone claims it is owed $83,856.79 on those portions of the project.
The complaint says the second lien was recorded March 31, 2025, then partially discharged on March 30, 2026, by $2,063.01, leaving a balance of $83,856.79.
Milestone is asking the court to recognize both liens, enter a money judgment for the amount found due, award interest, costs, and attorneys’ fees, and order the property sold at judicial sale to satisfy the judgment. These are claims made by the plaintiff in the complaint and have not been proven in court.
