BOCA RATON, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2025) — The Boca Raton Museum of Art will present Timeless Mucha: The Magic of Line from November 20, 2025 through March 1, 2026. The exhibition presents the captivating artwork of Alphonse Mucha through his dreamlike lines and delicate human forms.

The Mucha Foundation organized this exhibition to study the artistic heritage of Czech-born Art Nouveau artist Alphonse Mucha while showing how his artistic style affected visual art throughout the 20th century.

Mucha was born in 1860 in Ivančice, Moravia which belonged to the Austrian Empire until he moved to Paris for success in the early 1900s to create decorative posters that merged artistic styles with commercial value for Sarah Bernhardt and other stage performers. The exhibition demonstrates his artistic development while subsequent artists rediscovered his intricate compositions and powerful symbolic elements.

Visitors can discover how Mucha’s distinctive curved lines and botanical elements and romantic artistic depictions created new directions in graphic design and music art and popular culture. The program studies how artists from the 1960s and 1970s used his style to create psychedelic visual works which continue to impact modern art.

The exhibition anchors a full season of related programs at the museum. Marcus Mucha will deliver a lecture about his ancestor Alphonse Mucha titled “Alphonse Mucha: The Man, The Artist, The Legacy” on Tuesday November 18.

The following events will take place in the future.

November 13 – Art School Student Exhibition Opening

November 15 – Collectors Forum: Palm Beach Kickoff

November 23 – Music in the Museum featuring Palm Beach Opera Apprentice Artists

December 11 – Art of Dance: The Magic of Line

February 21 – Annual Gala Dinner & Party: From the Belle Époque to the Summer of Love

Regular museum hours are Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Thursday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. The museum is closed Mondays and Tuesdays.

The museum will be closed for maintenance from October 20nd through November 2nd.

The museum offers free admission to members while charging $16 for adult visitors and $12 for senior visitors (65+) and $10 for groups. High school students and children under 15 can enter free of charge.

Tickets are available through the Boca Raton Museum of Art website.

The Museum explains that Timeless Mucha presents a new perspective on the artistic vision of a creator who used line to express beauty and freedom through his work.

The exhibition enables viewers to experience Mucha’s enduring artistic style which transforms their perception of reality through his elegant drawing methods.
