BROWARD COUNTY, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2024) — This weekend the Broward County Sheriffs Office DUI Task Force and district officials along, with agencies and cities plan to carry out a DUI sobriety safety checkpoint operation.

The procedure is scheduled to occur from 10 p.m to 3 a.m on Friday night of December 13th to morning of Saturday December 14th in Central Broward unincorporated area.

The main goal of this initiative is to enhance road safety by catching drivers under the influence who could endanger the public and issuing citations to those breaking traffic laws.

The public is being encouraged by the BSO to practice safe driving habits.
