Christopher Burt, 26, Arrested
DELRAY BEACH, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2024) — Delray Beach Police arrested a 26-year-old Boca Raton man after a run in with 561 Predator Catcher at a Delray Beach Walmart.
On Saturday, June 29th, 2024, Delray Beach Police responded to the Walmart on 16205 S. Military Trail in response to a disturbance.
Responding officers met with Christopher Michael Burt, who was being confronted as a child predator By Dustin Lampros. Lampros runs a social media group called “561 Predator Catcher” where he “catches” people attempting to meet
with minors for sex. Burt told officers that an underage child was having a conversation with him and it got too far. He stated that he didn’t want this child to have a mindset like this and communicate with
a predator. He advised that he said some “really bad shit”.
Burt told officers that someone underage messaged him on a dating app. Burt stated the individual asked him what his intentions were and what did he want from this encounter. Burt advised he was just bluntly honest, he did not
specifically say he was going to do it with them. He stated that he said he wanted to have sex, explained the kind of things he liked and advised of the things he’s into. Burt advised that he said these things after he had already been told that the decoy was
14 years old.
Dustin Lampros told officers that Burt had been exchanging sexually explicit messages with someone he believed to be a 14-year-old boy. Lampros stated that Burt sent several pictures of himself in the messages. It should be noted that Burt was cooperative and did not deny any of the accusations made by Lampros.
Burt was arrested two weeks later by the Boca Raton Police Department and the Delray Beach Police Department for a warrant later obtained following the incident. Burt was charged with one count of Obscene Communication – Travel To Meet After Use Comput To Lure Child.
Burt has since been released from jail after a judge ordered he have no contact with minor children.
The video of Burt’s confrontation was not seen on 561 Predator Catcher’s social media outlets at this time.
Who is 561 Predator Catcher?
561 Predator Catcher is a social media group managed by MMA fighter Dustin Lampros. 561P is known for confronting local accused child predators in our area. Lampros generally meets suspects who are are allegedly intending to meet up with underage children at public places, such as Walmart. What the suspects don’t know is that they have been “chatting” with decoy agents who have been documenting their conversations for potential prosecution.
In the 561 Predator Catcher videos, Lampros spends significant amount of time speaking with the suspects. It is not unusual to see the suspects attempt to do pushups on camera. Lampros calls them “Predator Pushups”.
