BOCA RATON, FL (Boca Post) —A Boca Raton Man has been arrested and charged with robbery (by sudden snatching, without firearm or weapon), according to jail records released to Boca Post by the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.

The 75-year-old Boca Raton man has been arrested by the Boca Raton Police Department. Boca Post has been notified that the charge filed is robbery (by sudden snatching, without a firearm or weapon).

According to the Boca Raton Police Department, officers responded to a domestic disturbance at a waterfront home in Boca Raton. BRPD officers reported that the female victim, who has been dating the suspect for 4 years, came home early to find him naked with another woman.

The victim says she allowed the other female to leave and then the suspect became upset with her for coming home early. The victim retreated to the closet and took out her phone when the suspect then approached her and tried to take her phone. The victim says that she told the suspect “Don`t touch me and don`t touch my phone!”

The suspect then forcefully took the victim’s phone from her and put it down his pants. The victim retrieved her phone and fled the home. Police arrived and later charged the suspect with robbery for snatching the phone from his girlfriend of four years.

Since we published the original arrest report, the girlfriend, who will remain anonymous, wrote Boca Post and provided more details about what happened. Her exact statement follows:

I arrived home at 2:00 pm. Together with my daughter (14 years old). When I enter the house, as usual, I say hi Charlie, but there is no answer. My daughter went upstairs to her room, and I walked toward the main entrance of the bedroom. The suspect came out screaming aggressively, he tells me to get out of fucking house right now, and I replied, it’s already two, it’s the weekend he told me to leave the house. I was going to change and my daughter had to organize things for school, and do homework on the computer, the suspect keeps yelling and he walks back to the room naked to put on pants.

I went to the closet in the room, and I am in the doorway of the closet, I see a young girl on the bed silent. I tell the suspect this is the reason why you are being so aggressive and screaming to get out.I open the closet door and go inside. To get my things. That’s when the suspect grabbed me from behind and started choking me and with his knee, he kneed me and hit me with his knee on my left thigh. He pinned me against the table in the closet, so that I could not move. When he did this, I tell him that I am recording him, and recording what he is doing to me, then again he began to squeeze my neck, this time with one arm, and with the other hand, he tries to take the phone away from me. Gasping for air and fearing for my life, I screamed to my daughter call the police, call the police. I told him to not touch me, don’t touch me or my phone. Hardly able to breathe the suspect takes my phone and sticks it in his pants, puts it in his private area, and walks out of the closet. I told him my phone has everything recorded and I had a video call, And at that moment I recover my phone.

The girl tells me I’m sorry “I didn’t know you lived with him” and that it was the first time The girl leaves the house and drives away.

The suspect, goes outside, and gets into the vehicle I was driving that my cousin is sitting in waiting, the suspect takes my documents and starts hitting and yelling at my cousin to get out of the car, but my cousin doesn’t get out of the car, he doesn’t know what is going on and doesn’t get out because, in the car were his suitcases with his passport, my purse, and my license and debit cards.

The suspect starts the car aggressively and speeds down the road and slams on the brakes causing my cousin to hit his head on the dash because my cousin would not get out. I told my cousin not to get out of the car because our personal things and documents were in the vehicle.

I went to the SUV to get my things out and the girl that was in the house returned.  I told the girl that she could come inside to recover her belongings. Inside the house, the suspect accused me and my daughter of taking his phone. But he had his phone in his hands. After getting her things and going back outside to her jeep, the girl tells me that she is young and asked that I don’t tell her parents. She thought when I was recording the video she was in it, and she also told me that she had just met him.

The suspect, go into the garage and takes a tool to deflate the tires of the car I use, to not allow me to leave, When I saw him doing this I called 911. I went into the house and to the closet to get a suitcase, that I have with my Emigration documents. He comes inside behind me and starts walking around the house yelling it will be worse if you continue.

At this time, I am still on the phone with the police, while he is yelling and making verbal threats and saying things like he will give me zero financial because I depend on him and he doesn’t let me work, if i continue staying on the phone with the police. The 911 operator was listening to what he was telling me and asks me to keep my distance and get out from where he is. I told him I was in the closet and I stayed in the closet until the police knock on the door, and 911 ended the call.
