WEST PALM BEACH, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2023) — 87-year-old Theresa Thirbenny passed away after the deadly crash.

The deadly accident happened near Haverhill Road and Eadie Place in suburban West Palm Beach just before 7 AM on Tuesday, November 14th, 2023.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office tells us that Micheal Cross was driving a Toyota Corolla heading south on Haverhill Road in the second lane. At the same time, Theresa Thirbenny was walking from west to east when she stepped onto the road, right into the path of Cross’ vehicle. Cross’ car collided with Thirbenny, causing her to be thrown over the front of his vehicle and projected onto the passenger side before finally coming to a stop on the road. Cross stopped his car just south of where the collision occurred.

Thirbenny was immediately taken to St. Mary’s Medical Center but sadly succumbed to her injuries. Theresa Thirbenny would have celebrated her 88th birthday next week.
