Genevieve Marie Reed, 51, Reed Passed Away

WEST PALM BEACH, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2023) — A woman has died after she was struck down by a man delivering newspapers in West Palm Beach on Wednesday morning.

The accident happened near 193 Lake Carol Drive in West Palm Beach at 8:30 AM on Wednesday, November 1st, 2023.

Investigators say that Roger Stcyr was driving east on Lake Carol Dr in the westbound lane while delivering newspapers. At the same time, Genevieve Marie Reed was crossing the road. Stcyr’s Nissan Pathfinder collided with Reed, causing her to fall and hit her head. Stcyr immediately stopped his vehicle. Reed was found lying just five feet ahead of Stcyr’s newspaper delivery SUV.

Reed was taken to the hospital for medical attention but declined any treatment while there.

Unfortunately, on Saturday, November 4th, 2023, it was reported that Reed succumbed to her injuries sustained in the accident.
