A 14-year-old girl riding an electric skateboard along Pinion Drive was struck by a Kawasaki driven by a 14-year-old boy, according to investigators. A hospital update indicated she suffered two brain bleeds, a lacerated spleen, hip fracture, bleeding pelvis, a dissected vessel on one side of the brain, and a pseudo aneurysm on the other side.
PBSO listed the vehicle as a 2007 Kawasaki. It is not known at this time whether it is a motorcycle, dirt bike, or some other off-road vehicle.
