BSO Identifies Suspect In Tamarac Stabbing - Keenan White Arrested For Murder

Keenan White Arrested For Murder

Broward Sheriff’s Office Homicide Unit detectives on Tuesday arrested a Tamarac man for murder.
At approximately 3:50 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 9, Broward Regional Communications received a call regarding a stabbing in the 6300 block of Landings Way in Tamarac. BSO deputies and Tamarac Fire Rescue responded. On scene, deputies located an adult male suffering from multiple stab wounds. Tamarac Fire Rescue transported the man to an area hospital with life-threatening wounds. The victim was pronounced deceased at the hospital.
On scene, deputies took Keenan Whyte into custody. Whyte was brought to the BSO Public Safety Building, where he was interviewed by homicide detectives. Using a variety of investigative methods, detectives arrested Whyte for first-degree murder. He was transported to the Broward County Main Jail.

Broward Sheriff’s Office Homicide Unit investigators have confirmed that the victim in this incident died from his injuries.

The investigation is ongoing.

TAMARAC, FL (Boca Post) — The Broward Sheriff’s Office tells Boca Post that a man has been airlifted with life-threatening injuries after being stabbed by another man who they say is in custody.

At approximately 3:50 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 9, Broward Regional Communications received a call regarding a stabbing in the 6300 block of Landings Way in Tamarac. Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies and Tamarac Fire Rescue responded.

On scene, deputies located an adult male suffering from stab wounds. The male was airlifted to an area hospital with life-threatening wounds. Deputies detained an adult male on the scene.

BSO’s Homicide Unit and Crime Scene Unit are investigating the circumstances of the incident.
