Court records show a Delray Beach man accused of firing toward officers during a search warrant operation was first sought by detectives attempting to serve a DNA warrant that led to a high-speed chase through southern Palm Beach County.
A Florida Highway Patrol trooper was stabbed in the head, neck, and shoulder during a wrong-way driver response on State Road 836 in Miami-Dade County, and the driver was shot by the trooper, investigators said.
