Holiday Boat Parade By City Of Boca Raton

Holiday Boat Parade By The City Of Boca Raton

BOCA RATON, FL (Boca Post) — Doing the holidays in Florida style. See the City of Boca Raton’s 47th annual holiday boat parade. The City of Boca Raton has sent out some reminders so you know before you go!

The city is reminding everyone that the event will take place on Saturday, December 18th from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm.

There are multiple viewing locations including a public viewing location at Red Reef Park along the intercoastal. The city is cautioning people that space is limited so plan ahead.

Bring a blanket or chair because only limited seating is available.

The parade is happening rain or shine. After all, these are boats.

There are public restrooms available at the park.

There will be food trucks at the park.

Parking

FREE – limited parking at Red Reef Park — both lots, east and west of N. Ocean Blvd. Parking starts at 4 PM.

Bridges Held Up

The following bridges will be held up in the ‘UP’ position for the duration of the parade and the estimated closings are as followed:

  • Spanish River @ 6:50PM
  • Palmetto Park @ 7:20PM
  • Camino Real @ 7:30PM

Expect Heavy Traffic

Expect heavier-than-usual traffic at Palmetto Park Road at El Rio Canal Bridge — construction causing lane reduction.
