Garrett Hennigar Charged With Aggravated Battery, Stabbing Victim Hospitalized

ROYAL PALM BEACH, FL (Boca Post) — A house party in Royal Palm Beach turned violent sending one stabbing victim to the hospital and one teenager to jail for aggravated battery.

According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the 6000 block of Royal Palm Beach Blvd, Royal Palm Beach, in reference to a stabbing.

Upon arrival, deputies learned that an altercation occurred between the victim and the suspect resulting in the victim being stabbed. The victim was transported to a local where he was treated for a stab wound to his back. After further investigation, the suspect was identified as 19-year-old Garrett Hennigar of Boynton Beach.

Hennigar was located arrested and transported to PBC Jail to face charges of Aggravated Battery with a weapon.

Hennigar is scheduled for his first appearance in front of a judge tomorrow morning.
