POMPANO BEACH, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2024) — The Broward Sheriff’s Office is investigating a deputy-involved shooting that occurred shortly after 9:30 p.m., on Tuesday, Aug. 27, near the 700 block of Northwest Fifth Avenue in Pompano Beach.

Deputies responded to a shots fired call. Pompano Beach Fire Rescue responded and transported the subject to a local hospital for treatment. No other injuries reported at this time. The investigation continues. Upon confirmation, more information will be released.
