PAHOKEE, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2025) — Four years gone, still no answers.

The night was November 6, 2021. Deputies with the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office were trying to break up a huge block party near South Lake Avenue and Daniel Place. Then the gunfire started.

Chaos followed. People ran. Cars peeled off. When things quieted, deputies found three victims — two men, one woman. All were rushed to local hospitals.

One of them, 31-year-old De’Joshua Johnson of Greenacres, didn’t survive.

PBSO detectives with the Violent Crimes Division took over the case. No suspect. No motive. Nothing concrete to move on.

At first, Johnson’s family used Marsy’s Law to keep his name private. They’ve since lifted that and are asking anyone who knows what happened to come forward.

PBSO put out a short video again asking for tips, saying “someone knows something.” In a statement, the agency said, “Anyone with information on this shooting is urged to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-458-TIPS.”

Tips can be anonymous. Cash rewards are possible.

That block party was supposed to be fun — music, friends, a weekend night. Instead, it ended in sirens and tape.

Four years later, the question still hangs over Pahokee: who killed De’Joshua Johnson?

Please take a look at the attached video. ANYONE with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-458-TIPS.
