NORTH LAUDERDALE, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2026) — Broward Sheriff’s Office detectives are asking for the public’s help to find a 72-year-old woman reported missing from North Lauderdale.

BSO’s Missing Persons Unit said Gerone Beaubrun was last seen at about 1 p.m. Friday, April 17, near the 5400 block of Southwest 12th Street in North Lauderdale.

Detectives described Beaubrun as 5 feet 3 inches tall and about 110 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. Investigators said she was last seen wearing a grey shirt, dark pants, a black bonnet and sandals.

According to her family, Beaubrun experiences dementia.

BSO is handling the search through its Missing Persons Unit. Anyone with information about Beaubrun’s whereabouts is asked to contact BSO Det. Leonard Charla at 954-321-4274 or call the BSO non-emergency number at 954-764-HELP (4357).
