Investigation Continues

NORTH LAUDERDALE, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2023) — BSO and North Lauderdale Fire Rescue responded to a domestic disturbance in North Lauderdale where at least 10 children were taken into protective custody.

According to the Broward Sheriff’s Office, shortly before 7 a.m. on Thursday, May 11th, 2023, Broward Sheriff’s Office district deputies responded to a domestic disturbance call at a home in North Lauderdale.

One woman from the home was taken into custody for questioning. Investigators from BSO’s Special Victim’s Unit and Child Protective Investigation Services responded to continue the investigation.

North Lauderdale Fire Rescue transported at least ten children to an area hospital to be checked out as a precaution. The investigation is ongoing.
