LOXAHATCHEE, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2025) — A motorcyclist was killed Thursday night when a Dodge Challenger hit him from behind at a red light on Southern Boulevard, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office. The crash happened around 7:06 p.m. at the intersection of Southern Blvd and D Road in Loxahatchee, investigators wrote in a traffic log entry released Friday.

Deputies say the motorcyclist was stopped in the inside westbound lane for a red light when the Challenger approached from behind. The driver of the Dodge, identified by PBSO as Brandon Blazynski, 31, was also heading west in the same lane and “failed to stop behind V-2,” according to the report.

The front of the Dodge hit the rear of the motorcycle. After impact, investigators say the Dodge continued sliding west through the intersection, stopping in the inside travel lane. The motorcycle was pushed forward and “came to final rest on its left side” in the center westbound lane.

During the crash, the rider was ejected and came to rest near the rear passenger side of the Dodge. He was taken to a hospital and pronounced dead at 8:40 p.m., according to deputies.

PBSO wrote that next of kin have not yet been located. PBSO does not believe alcohol or drugs are a factor; however, indicate that other charges may be pending.
