Lauderdale Lakes Man Taken Into Custody

LAUDERDALE LAKES, FL (Boca Post) — A barricaded man was taken into custody by BSO SWAT following a domestic disturbance.

According to the Broward Sheriff’s Office, at approximately 5:27 a.m., Broward County Regional Communications received a call reporting a domestic disturbance near the 4000 block of Northwest 36th Court in Lauderdale Lakes.

Broward Sheriff’s Office district deputies and Fire Rescue responded. The preliminary investigation revealed the subject, an adult male, had violated a restraining order. BSO deputies learned the subject fled the area in a vehicle.

Through investigative methods, deputies were able to locate the subject who bailed out of the vehicle and barricaded himself inside a residence near the 1900 block of Northwest 46th Avenue in Lauderhill. BSO deputies quickly established a perimeter.

BSO SWAT Team responded to the scene. Moments later, the subject was taken into custody. BSO Special Victims Unit detectives responded and are currently investigating this incident.
