PBSO tells Boca Post that they were able to safely locate the stolen puppy following an anonymous tip.

With the assistance of Clewiston PD and their Animal Care & Control, the puppy was located and brought home safely, this morning, to the victim, Wet Kisses Pet Co.

The suspect is still on the loose.

LAKE WORTH, FL (Boca Post) — PBSO seeks this suspect in the theft of a puppy from Wet Kisses Pet Company in Lake Worth.

PBSO says the woman stole the puppy on July 23rd, 2022.

The woman was seen on camera taking the dog from the viewing pen and concealing it underneath her purple sweater before walking out of the store without paying for the puppy.

The puppy is described as a black/white Pekingese mixed with Maltese. The store had the dog for sale and was asking $2,600 for the pup.

PBSO says the suspect and vehicle information is unknown at this time.

Boca Post previously reported on a puppy theft in West Boca Raton. In that case, a family unit stole a Chihuahua puppy valued at $7,000.
