LAKE WORTH BEACH, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2023) — 79-year-old Romero Cortez passed away after crashing his vehicle into several parked vehicles in Lake Worth Beach.

The accident happened near the 320 block of Columbia Drive in Lake Worth Beach.

Romero Cortez, aged 79, was driving his Chevy Impala in a northerly direction on N. Dixie Hwy. He took a wide turn towards the east onto Columbia Dr., where he accidentally collided with a properly parked Toyota Corolla on the north side of the road. After that, Cortez crossed over to the other side of the road and hit the curb before going up onto the sidewalk. Subsequently, he collided with another parked vehicle located in the driveway of a home on the 320 block of Columbia Drive. Finally, Cortez’s car came to a stop in that same driveway. According to investigators, it is possible that Cortez experienced a medical issue prior to the accident.
