FLORIDA (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2026) — A Florida Silver Alert has been issued for a missing woman from Largo in Pinellas County, according to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.

FDLE identified the missing person as Maryann Pennell, 64. She is described as a white woman with brown hair and blue eyes. She is listed at 5 feet, 5 inches tall and 145 pounds.

FDLE said her last known area was Largo.

Silver Alerts are used in Florida to help locate missing older adults. The alert is intended to get information out quickly so the public can help law enforcement find the person.

For South Florida residents, these alerts matter because people travel across counties every day for work, appointments, and family visits, and missing-person cases can move fast once someone leaves the last known area. The public’s tips can help narrow down where to look.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Largo Police Department at 727-587-6730 or call 911.

The official FDLE flyer is posted at http://www.fdle.state.fl.us/MCICSearch/Flyer.asp?ID=506740.
