FLORIDA (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2026) — A Florida Missing Child Alert has been issued for a 15-year-old girl who was last known to be in the Homestead area, according to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.

FDLE identified the child as Angeles Vazquez, from Homestead in Dade County. The alert is part of the state’s system for circulating information quickly when a child is reported missing, and it puts the case in front of the public so tips can reach law enforcement fast.

Angeles Vazquez is described as a white-Hispanic female, 15 years old, with brown hair and brown eyes. She is listed as 5 feet tall and 86 pounds.

FDLE’s flyer lists her last known area as Homestead, Dade County. No other circumstances were provided in the alert.

Authority for the investigation and follow-up sits with the Homestead Police Department, which is the agency FDLE directed the public to contact with information. Anyone who has information is asked to call the Homestead Police Department at 305-247-1535 or call 911.

For residents in South Florida, the immediate ask is simple: check what you know, what you saw, and what you may have on cameras or in messages that could help locate a missing teen. The alert provides identifying details so the public can recognize her if seen and get information to police without delay.

FDLE’s official Missing Child Alert flyer remains available online at http://www.fdle.state.fl.us/MCICSearch/Flyer.asp?ID=508316.

What happens next is driven by tips and investigative steps by Homestead Police. If the public sees Angeles Vazquez or has information about where she may be, police want that information called in right away through the department number or 911.
