BOCA RATON, FL (Boca Post) — The City of Boca Raton will be hosting the city’s 50th annual holiday parade tonight on Federal Highway and we have everything you need to know.

The parade will start promptly at 7:30 PM and run through 9 PM TONIGHT.

The city’s 50th annual holiday street parade is said to have more than 70 floats this year and feature lights, dances, and music to entertain the viewers along Federal Highway in downtown Boca Raton.

The parade will start at Federal Highway and SE 5th Street, and travel north to the Mizner Park Amphitheater. This year’s theme will be “Groovy 70’s,” as the city celebrates the parade’s 50th Anniversary (1972-2022).

As a reminder, traffic will be congested in the area as Federal Highway will be closed. Parking for attendees at the City lots listed below is free, ample, and highly recommended:

  • City Hall – 201 W. Palmetto Park Road
  • Downtown Library – 400 NW 2nd Avenue
  • Building Administration – 200 NW 2nd Avenue

And BEFORE the parade, participate in a family-friendly 1 mile “Boca Mile Run” with the Boca Raton Police Athletic League.

Expect heavy traffic and delays in and around the downtown area before, during, and after the parade time.
