PALM BEACH COUNTY, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2026) — The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office reports seven DUI arrests following a countywide DUI saturation patrol conducted Friday night, January 23, 2026.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, deputies with the Traffic Division were on the road from 8 p.m. until 4 a.m., focusing on impaired driving and other traffic violations through high-visibility enforcement across Palm Beach County.
By the end of the overnight operation, deputies had conducted 63 traffic stops, resulting in 41 moving citations and 32 warnings. The patrol also led to 20 misdemeanor arrests or criminal citations, including the seven DUI arrests.
PBSO said the saturation patrol was designed to deter impaired driving and remove dangerous drivers from local roadways during peak weekend hours. Deputies were instructed to enforce all traffic laws, not just DUI-related offenses.
No further details were immediately released about where the arrests occurred or whether additional enforcement operations are planned in the coming weeks.
The Sheriff’s Office routinely conducts DUI saturation patrols and checkpoints throughout the year, particularly on weekends and during periods when impaired driving incidents historically increase.
