Funeral Procession For Firefighter/Paramedic James ‘Nate’ Leonard Today To Cause Traffic Delays

CORAL SPRINGS, FL (Boca Post) — Coral Springs-Parkland Fire Department is alerting the public to expect traffic delays this morning due to the funeral procession for Firefighter/Paramedic James ‘Nate’ Leonard.

James ‘Nate’ Leonard, 42, passed away on Wednesday after his courageous two year fight with cancer. Nate’s viewing and prayer service was last night at Monarch Funeral Home in Margate. Nate’s funeral

Funeral Procession For Firefighter-Paramedic James ‘Nate’ Leonard Today To Cause Traffic Delays

9:30AM – 10:15 AM

  • Expect traffic delays on Royal Palm Blvd from NW 29th Street to 99th Avenue
  • Brief road closure at NW 29th Street

11:15AM – 12:15PM

The procession will start at Saint Andrew Catholic Church following a funeral mass. The procession will then drive by Nate’s Fire Station #95 at 300 Coral Ridge Dr. and then proceed to Our Lady Queen of Heaven Cemetery at 1500 South SR-7 in North Lauderdale.

  • Expect traffic delays as the procession moves through the area. Traffic delays will affect Atlantic Blvd., Coral Ridge, McNab Road, and 441 along the path of the procession.
