WESTON, FL (Boca Post) — Broward Sheriff’s Office is warning residences about what they are calling an attempted burglary in Weston that occurred in the early morning hours of March 3rd, 2022.

A camera recorded the patio of a home on Lakeview Drive in Weston at about 3:50 am on March 3rd, 2022 when this man attempted to open the front door. This man apparently checked to see if the door was unlocked and then left as soon as he realized it was locked.

BSO is reminding citizens to lock their doors and windows at night, keep their homes well-lit at night, and consider installing cameras and/or motion-sensing lights for security.

Know this man? BSO offers a $5,000 reward for information.
