UPDATE: ACCIDENTAL SHOOTING: Teen Arrested After Deadly Wilton Manors Shooting

BROWARD COUNTY, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2024) — Detectives from the Broward Sheriffs Office Homicide Unit are currently looking into a shooting incident, in Wilton Manors that resulted in the death of a teenage boy.

At 2;30 p.m on Monday September 16th. law enforcement from Wilton Manors Police Department and Fort Lauderdale Police Department along with firefighters from Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue were called to a shooting incident at a residential building in Northwest 25th Streets 400 block area. Upon their arrival at the scene they found one person who had been shot. Identified as 16-year-old Christopher Granados.. He was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was later pronounced dead. The shooting incident occurred within the residence premises. Did not pose any danger to others, in the surrounding community.

Broward County Sheriffs Office detectives specializing in homicide and crime scenes were summoned to lead the investigation into a death, in Wilton Manors city limits.
