The detectives from the Broward Sheriffs Office Homicide Unit acted quickly to apprehend a suspect in connection with the shooting that claimed the life of a 28 year old man, in Lauderdale Lakes.
Djay Ramawadin surrendered on Sunday the 13th of October for the killing of Kevin Hasnaali, on Saturday the 12th of October.
At around 1;30 a.m on Saturday morning of the week in Lauderdale Lakes area of Broward County Regional Communications received notifications about a shooting incident on North State Road 7 at the 4300 block.The response teams from BSO deputies and Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue quickly arrived on the scene to attend to the situation.An adult male was found with gunshot injuries and immediate life saving actions were initiated by the deputies.Emergency medical services then transported the individual identified as Kevin Hasnali to Broward Health Medical Center where he was later confirmed deceased.Followed by this event the investigative units, from BSOs Homicide and Crime Scene were called in to examine further into what led to this unfortunate incident.
On Sunday afternoon Ramawad was taken into custody for first degree murder with a firearm and aggravated assault, with a firearm.He was later transported to the Broward County Main Jail.
