A tragic incident occurred in Oakland Park involving a hit and run that resulted in the death of a man named Fritznel Pericles. The Broward Sheriff’s Office Traffic Homicide Unit is currently investigating this fatal crash that took place on Northwest 31st Avenue. Pericles was found injured in a parking lot and despite efforts to save him, he was pronounced dead at the scene by Oakland Park Fire Rescue.
