The Broward Sheriff’s Office Homicide and Crime Scene divisions have opened an investigation into a homicide that unfolded Saturday afternoon in Pompano Beach. At 1:58 p.m. On Oct. 4 Broward County’s Regional Communications Center logged reports of a shooting in the 1600 block of Northwest 10th Circle. Deputies from the BSO, alongside Pompano Beach Fire Rescue raced to the location. Upon arrival they discovered two adult males with gunshot wounds. Paramedics whisked the men to a hospital, where one was later pronounced dead. BSO’s homicide detectives and crime‑scene specialists showed up at the scene to piece together what transpired.
